Dr. Sandana received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He completed graduate coursework in epidemiology at the George Washington University School of Public Health before receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Sardana completed his internship and residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was a Chief Resident. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care where he received training in general GI, liver disease and advanced endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP.
He has a special interest in pancreaticobiliary disorders and GI oncology.
