Dr. Louis Salas graduated from Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Cayey, Puerto Rico in 1987. From 1988 to 1989, he was Assistant Resident (second year) in Internal Medicine at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. From 1989 to 1990, he was Senior Medical Resident at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. In 1992, he completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Salas is certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
