Dr. Allen Banegura graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2000. He finished an Internal Medicine Residency at University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Mich. three years later. In 2007, he completed a Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Banegura is certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He’s a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
